I'm still not convinced it's not the dealers doing it to collect insurance on suddenly unsellable vehicles.
@realtegan @knittingknots2 that would track but tesla owns all it's dealership directly so they would most likely be torching cars more to create a false 'terrorist' scenario then for insurance money ... used car dealers on the other hand .. ya never know :)
