Thousands in Seattle have surrounded the federal court house where ICE has been kidnapping immigrants.

They're chanting "Fuck ICE" and "Chinga La Migra"

Damn, Seattle, that was intense.

A crushing crowd of thousands descended on Seattle's immigration courthouse for the second day in a row.

After Tuesday's large demonstration blocked garage exits, preventing ICE from spiriting away the kidnapping victims yesterday for hours.

Today ICE didn't arrest any immigrants leaving court bc the garages were blocked all day. Overnight Seattle redoubled the protest with a mass demonstration.

A dumpster is tipped over and on fire sitting in the middle of a Seattle intersection. The immigration court building decorated with graffiti that says "See ICE. Add heat" Thousands are marching down to the immigration court. The crowd stretches for blocks. Police surround the burning dumpster and protect all the garbage in the area from spontaneously combusting

Allegedly the crowd parked rental bikes and scooters at inconvenient locations. On Tuesday ICE was unable to discreetly exit these garages due to the awkward pile of rental bikes.

Tonight those piles grew thicker and all of the entrances to the building were decorated with anti-ICE graffiti.

Rental scooters are parked at a garage entrance of the immigration court building. Rental scooters are parked at a garage entrance of the immigration court building. Rental scooters are parked in the rotating entrance to the immigration court building. News stands, bits of fencing and other objects are also piled into the rotating door

The glass and surrounding surfaces are all graffitied with anti ICE slogans.

The cops didn't seem to appreciate the protest vibes and massed a pretty big group of riot cops and bike cops.

SPD charged into the crowd to put out the dumpster fire then eventually retreated back up a hill. In the process a person walking behind the cops was violently arrested and dog piled by several officers.

The cops then faced off again with unarmed civilians. Just after this picture SPD fired a volley of pepper balls, mace and "rubber" bullets into the crowd as they charged in again.

A line of riot and bike cops stand with large wooden sticks and pepper ball guns. Moments later they would shower the crowd in pepper spray and paint balls.

There were at least 8 activists arrested Wednesday night in Seattle. One protester was hospitalized by cops with serious injuries.

I will update when I have medical, court & bail support info.

This all comes I believe on top 2 ICE demonstration arrests from Tuesday.

There's a request for court watch support at KCJ 500 5th Ave today(6/12), 2pm for 2-3 people still in SPD custody.

People are not sure which court room, its mostly likely KCJ1. There are only two court rooms at KCJ.

Update - Everyone left in cop custody from last night's protests were ordered to be released from jail during the hearings today.

Immigration court will be back in session tomorrow(Friday June 13th) for normal hours so local migrants are calling for community support inside and outside of the hearings.

General call for immigration courtroom observers at the federal immigration court at 915 2nd Ave, floors 5-8. Observers help prevent ICE kidnappings, especially if they’re there in sufficient numbers.

Activist on the ground report 3 ICE agents have been seen entering the immigration court house.

If there's a time to be at the federal building... it's probably right now.

Seattle area immigrants have reported getting notifications of mandatory immigration interviews on Saturday and Sunday this week.

The problem is that there have never been weekend interviews like this so foreign residents are afraid it will be a large ICE roundup. Also, this weekend many liberals will be focusing on symbolic protests instead of material support.

So maybe consider cop watching an ICE office instead

BODIES NEEDED AT TUKWILA ICE OFFICE THIS WEEKEND!

ICE is being sketchy! Folks were told at 1pm Friday to show up to the immigration office this weekend when they're normally closed! Don't let ICE take advantage of a busy protest weekend in Seattle!

Saturday 6/14 + Sunday 6/15 8am-4pm 12500 Tukwila International Blvd

Spread the word, bring friends!

At least two immigrants have been detained by ICE/DHS at their surprise mandatory interviews today near Seattle.

Confirmed reports indicate many immigrants have started showing up for the interviews. Most have been able to leave within an hour. Two people however haven't returned for more than an hour. Their families and OTG witnesses report the missing two are now in ICE custody.

As of 11:30 AM - "Migrants are being detained actively at Tukwika USCIS right now. Need people otg at NWDC (1623 E J Street, Tacoma WA) gates to report van activity & number of detainees entering facility. ASAP.

Anyone who is free & familiar with NWDC Plz join this chat to coordinate with Tukwila folks OTG, DM for link.

Do NOT go to NWDC alone."

The Tukwila ICE interviews are getting tense after two migrants were detained for over an hour. One was released, but the remaining man called his family from an ICE phone saying he was being kidnapped and taken to an ICE prison.

Protesters have reportedly begun chanting for his release.

Militarized HSI and DHS cops have begun taking up positions around the ICE facility and are flying small drones to intimidate people watching this ICE operation..

Meanwhile the No Kings march is currently a continuous stream of people from the Space Needle to WestLake Park all the way to Cal Anderson.

People continue to arrive.

If you know Seattle, this is an exceptionally large march!

Update from Tukwila, cops deployed teargas within 90 seconds of arriving.

Protesters have allegedly prevented ICE from easily leaving with the kidnapping victims. The cops are getting impatient actively attacked the crowd of activists.

Finally home safe, and though I went to the liberal parade today it was still a weighty day.

It takes all kinds so I definitely don't want to tell the crowd -not- to do symbolic protests but fuck, I'm racked with angst rn.

It's reported that over 70,000 people marched in the anti-trump parade today.

Meanwhile in Tukwila only 200 people showed up to materially stop deportations. They tied up DHS, cops and ICE for the entire day.

Just 200 people.

Tukwila WA, a few miles south of Seattle local cops and federal agents faced off with activist. Cops deployed teargas and pepper spray which wafts in the background. A cop with pepper ball paint-ball gun stands pointing it at someone off screen. In the middle several officers forcefully shove or grab a person on the ground to detain them. A crowd of protesters stands in the background helping others to their feet

So if you have 2-4 hours free tomorrow and are able bodied, I think even a few more people in Tukwila just might keep migrants from going to prison. Even if immigrants are arrested, directly protesting ICE operations will raise the costs of these Gestapo assed ICE tactics.

If we make it consistent that kidnapping 2 migrants requires facing off with 200+ protesters we truly will melt ICE under the weight of their impossible quotas.

Stopped by the courthouse today and couldn't help but notice a flag(NB pride, right) was still flying above the court.

Speaking to reporters I got the scoop that activist allegedly stole the American flag on Tuesday annd burned that shit right in front of the court police and replaced 😂

Evidently the cops replaced the flag Tuesday evening so Wednesday the same thing happened and since then the cops just gave up.

Seems like queer antifa land to me for sure.

The protest at Seattle's immigration court house is STILL going. Getting word that activist on the ground have been pursued by riot cops for the last few hours but so far have remained free from police custody. For some reason Seattle's police chief seems to be personally out on the front lines of the riot squad chasing about 20ish blacl bloc protesters around downtown rn.

Overnight evidently three people were arrested near the Seattle ICE court house possibly in connection with the late night protests.

Not a ton of info on what happened, jail support etc is currently unknown.

Will update if anything develops.

It sounds like the migrant defense was highly successful this weekend in Tukwila. Only two immigrants were believed to have been kidnapped on Saturday, wish it were zero but thankful it was not efficient for ICE.

Today ICE didn't even bother to show up for work! 🎉🎊🤗

Hundreds of migrants and many comrades showed up none the less. Migrants wanted proof they attempted to attend the surprise interviews.

There's a recap video from Saturday created by a local immigrant lawyer showing Tukwila PD attacking the crowd. In WA we have state and local laws that say our local cops can't assist ICE.

So here the lawyer documents the moment were local cops cleared a driveway of protesters to allow ICE get away with Saturday's two kidnapping victims.

ICE tried to fight the crowd but they were so sloppy they teargassed themselves.

The Sunday recap video released by migrant activist group Super Familia shows how ICE just completely gave up today. DHS guy breaking the news ICE wasn't coming to work so skittish he peels outta there like answering questions on camera could be deadly.

It's a direct lesson on why rapid, direct responses to these gestapo tactics is critical.

This short video represents a major win that should be celebrated and re-doubled.

Speaking to migrants, they say the material support they most need the next few days is for people to physically rally at the Seattle Immigration Court where ICE is abducting people.

915 2nd Ave. Seattle

Monday at noon (and everyday this week) there is a call for autonomous protests at the court house.

If you have anti-ICE signs, chants or just snacks and good vibes for our migrant neighbors consider bringing it!

ICE is kidnapping people daily. Resistance to fascism is always justifieid. Please be aware that this a very public place and likely monitored by law enforcement. Please wear a mask for COVID safety.

Standup fight back.

A low income comrade was injured at an anti-ICE action by police chemical weapons and so-called "non-lethal" ammunition.

They're getting behind on bills because they need to take time off work this week.

From what I've heard sounds like today's immigration court watch was fairly quite. No signs of ICE abductions and the court should be done for the day.

Immigration rights activists say they'll be back all week, same time same court.

@nullagent Folks, these are the things we should follow up with after . Real human beings are being stolen off the streets and separated from their families. We can do something about it!

@nullagent not every person who went to No Kings advanced one step along the resistance path today

but a lot did

this was the first protest for an absolutely _stupid_ number of people. there were so many who just said so. or even had it on their homemade signs.

a bunch of different people have said it - I first heard it from Maya Angelou - but every journey begins with a single step.

a lot of people took that single step today.

@nullagent

It's flying upside down, but I'm sure whoever put it up was in a hurry.

@nullagent Please use some hashtags to get more eyes on your request.

@nullagent don't underestimate the amount of logistical damage an elderly with a stroller can cause and get away with, especially during rush hour. "able bodied" is absolutely unnecessary imho.

Rooting for you, sabotage advice free of charge 🙂

@nullagent Looks like you added the most logical ones- wishing you good luck from VA.

Tacoma activists are protesting at the ICE prison starting 11:30am today.

They're demanding the release of local immigrant Union organizer Alfredo Lelo Juarez Zeferino who has been in ICE custody in Tacoma for nearly three months!

So consider stopping by today!

I have some sad news, the non-binary pride flag which has been flying over the Seattle Federal Immigration Courthouse has fallen.

Cops were so busy protecting ICE during kidnappings that it took them a week to get around to tearing it down.

Frank's Flag Store collaborated with the feds to erase signs of the anti ICE protests from last week.

Fuck ICE, and fuck Frank's Flag Store!

In other news the protest at the Seattle Immigration courthouse continues tomorrow with two protests at the building.

The first protest is an all day court watch of immigration trials to ensure ICE isn't successful in kidnapping more people.

Today was reportedly quite, but more people helping to share the burden of this protest can really help keep things going!

Can you take a 2-4hr shift at the court house?

The second protest tomorrow at the Seattle ICE kidnapping court house starts at 6pm.

This protest is for an asian immigrant who was deported on flimsy legal grounds to Djibouti, a country he is not from and has never lived in.

Activist are calling on WA Governor Bob Ferguson to do more to fight ICE!

Reporter with The Burner, Hannah Krieg, posted this quick video talking about the protest scheduled for Wednesday 6-8PM at the Seattle federal building at 912 2nd Ave.

@nullagent during the month of goddamn pride no less

The Seattle & Tukwila ICE community defense aren't slowing down!

Yesterday ICE did not nab anyone from immigration court or at their check-in interviews.

Today is a federal holiday so things will likely remain quite, though I fully expect people to still be protesting ICE today.

In a somewhat concerning move folks noticed ICE/DHS boarding up the windows at the Tukwila immigration office.

Could this signal plans to ramp up kidnappings at interviews?

There's now an extremely detailed blog post on @CrimethInc covering a lot of the events I reported on here in Seattle.

Seems like an awfully important read for folks facing ICE across the US.

Seattle can stop ICE, but city hall won't do it unless we make them.

Every Tuesday at 2pm city council meets, it's time to tell them to Stop ICE.

Today activists learned that two local immigrants were kidnapped and being held in Tukwila in preparation to be shipped off to an ICE concentration camp.

The community showed up to defend them

📸The Burner Seattle

The latest update from comrades on the ground indicate that ICE vehicles eventually forced their way through the protesters, and likely were able to transport the recently kidnapped migrants to the Tacoma ICE prison.

It is verified that tomorrow 7/9/205 ICE plans to carry out mass arrests at Seattle's immigration courthouse!

Bring your signs, your grandma, your black bloc, bring everybody you know to tell ICE to get the fuck out of Seattle 8am to 4pm TOMORROW!

Since the demos on June 10th ICE has been unable to arrest anyone at the court house but tomorrow will test Seattle's resolve.
