@faraiwe I like the hardware, especially thin, light, long life. The GUI is OK (it's really pretty, but I don't care). I'd prefer to do everything in a simple Linux GUI.
If Apple disappeared, all of the wacko hardware outlets would be pushing Linux (and they do), on crappy hardware, and it would be difficult to sort them out (it's like this now).

@faraiwe agree with everything except the „stolen Linux“ part. The kernel is based on BSD and what’s the point of free open source if you can’t use it and build on that?
